E-gold

E-gold is a currency like dollars and dollars, but not the national currency of a country. This means there is no state that issued paper currency or metal incurrency e-gold. Instead, every transaction is done electronically via the Internet,not limited by geography of a country.

E-gold basically has the same function as e-mail. The difference is the e-mail as a substitute for conventional mail sent through the post office with stamps, while e-gold is in lieu of (alternative) for the transfer of money or a payment is usually done through an intermediary bank (ATM, bank transfer, bank draft and postalmoney orders).
